How superagnt_ sources LinkedIn data

Your agent calls a LinkedIn tool, such as data_linkedin_get_company_by_domain, or makes the same lookup over REST under /v1/data/linkedin. superagnt_ checks the request, sends it to an upstream data provider and hands back the provider's answer as JSON. The providers are companies whose business is collecting LinkedIn data, and superagnt_ pays them for each lookup.

superagnt_ doesn't run scrapers, browsers or LinkedIn accounts of its own to collect this data, and the tools never answer from a stored copy: every lookup goes out to a provider at the moment your agent makes it.

Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement bars using software, scripts or robots to scrape or copy profiles and other data, and its help page on prohibited software and extensions says accounts that run such tools risk restriction or shutdown.

superagnt_'s LinkedIn tools don't run on your account. You never sign in to LinkedIn through superagnt_, never hand over a session cookie and never install a browser extension, so the lookups add no activity to your LinkedIn account.

51 LinkedIn endpoints, grouped the way the LinkedIn tools page groups them:

• Company by domain. Turn a website domain into a company record: industry, headcount, headquarters, founding year, specialties and the LinkedIn id.
• Profile data. Full profile from a URL or username: positions, education, skills, recommendations given and received, connection and follower counts.
• People search. Search by title keyword, company, school, geography and name, with paging.
• Jobs. Job search filtered by title, function, seniority, location and date posted, plus job detail and the hiring team behind a posting.
• Company activity. Company posts and post comments, employee count, open jobs count and people-also-viewed.
• Posts and articles. Post detail, reactions, reposts and comments, full articles, and search by hashtag.

Not included: private messages, inbox contents and the people in a member's network. Profile lookups return connection and follower counts, not the connections themselves. Every endpoint is documented in the LinkedIn API reference.

Sending connection requests and messages takes a LinkedIn account, and superagnt_'s data tools don't send anything. For outreach, superagnt_ connects to tools such as HeyReach, Expandi and La Growth Machine with your own account at each one. Those tools send from the LinkedIn accounts you set up inside them, under their terms and LinkedIn's.

Profile data is personal data. If you keep or use data about people in the EU or California, GDPR or the CCPA governs what you store and how you use it, whichever tool fetched it. Every call runs under the superagnt_ terms.
