Google Ads and Meta ads MCP servers, compared: research first, then changes
Start with superagnt to research competitors and plan campaigns without touching your spend: it reads any brand's Facebook and Instagram ads, the landing pages behind their top offers and what those keywords cost, and never connects an ad account. Then pick an account server for the changes: Meta's own Ads MCP server for Meta, Google's open-source server to read Google Ads, or a hosted server to change both from one chat.
superagnt is a marketing plugin for Claude and ChatGPT that helps businesses find customers through outbound, SEO and ads. Every option below is shown from its own docs, pricing page or repo, read on Nov 5, 2026.

Install superagnt's Competitor Ad Research skill for me. It's the competitor-ad-research plugin from the github.com/superagnt/plugins marketplace, plus the superagnt MCP server (on Claude it's a connector I add in my browser; elsewhere I sign in through my browser). The setup guide for each kind of agent is at https://www.superagnt.com/install?skill=competitor-ad-research» The skill and the server it runs on: Meta Ad Library search, any web page and keyword volumes with costs per click are on every plan, paid per call from your data credits.
Which one to use, by job
- start here: research and planning
superagnt: competitors' live ads, the landing pages behind their top offers and what those keywords cost, with no ad account connected and nothing that can spend. A three-brand report cost 57.72 credits ($0.58).
- change Meta campaigns, Meta's way
Meta Ads MCP server: Meta's own server. New work starts paused, your client asks before anything goes live, and where Meta's rules are available, an admin can block budget increases.
- read Google Ads, Google's way
Google Ads MCP server: free and open source, and it can't change a bid, a budget or a campaign's status. You host it.
- Google and Meta from one chat, as drafts
AdKit Ads MCP: every change is saved as a draft in AdKit before it reaches your ad account, from $29 a month.
- six ad platforms behind approvals
Adspirer MCP server: new campaigns start paused and writes wait for your confirmation. Free plan: 15 tool calls a month, no card; competitor ad research needs Pro at $99 a month.
- audit an account in Claude Code
Claude Ads: free and open source, and every write is switched off. It works from the exports you give it.
12 Google Ads and Meta ads MCP options, compared
The columns follow the two jobs: first what each can research, then what it can change in your account and what stops it from overspending. Every fact is from the option's own docs, pricing page or repo, read on the date in its row. A fact its own pages don't state says so.
| option | sees competitors' ads | can touch your budget | set up before the first answer | works in | what it can change | spend guardrails | price and free tier | source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| superagnt Best for: researching competitors and planning campaigns without touching your spend | Yes. Any brand's active Facebook and Instagram ads from the Meta Ad Library, by country, grouped by offer, with the landing page and keyword costs behind each main offer (up to 5 a competitor). A recorded run: 615 ads for 3 brands, 57.72 credits. | No. It never connects an ad account, so it can't change a campaign, a bid or a budget. That's what keeps your spend safe while you research. | Add superagnt to Claude as a connector and sign in. No ad account, no developer token, no app review. |
| Nothing in an ad account. It only reads, and keeps what it finds as rows in your own workspace database. | None needed: it has no access to an ad account. A run spends data credits from your plan, never ad budget. | Starter, $49 a month with $20 of data credits. Free: a no-card trial with $3 of data credits; the run on this page used $0.58 | checked |
| Meta Ads MCP server Best for: managing your own Meta ads from a chat instead of Ads Manager | Yes. Its ads_library_search tool searches the public Meta Ad Library "for competitive research and creative inspiration", from inside the same sign-in that manages your ads. Meta is rolling tool access out gradually. | Yes. It creates ad sets with budgets, edits campaigns, ad sets and ads, and ads_activate_entity switches a paused one on, which Meta says "starts spending budget". | Add https://mcp.facebook.com/ads as a connector, then sign in with Facebook Login for Business and approve ads permissions. No Meta developer app needed. |
| Campaigns, ad sets (targeting and budget), ads and creatives, boosted Instagram posts and partnership ads, custom audiences, catalogs, Pixel event rules, A/B tests and lift studies. | New campaigns, ad sets and ads start paused, and your client asks before switching one on. A draft mode keeps new work for review. Admins can add rules that block budget increases above a percentage, an amount or a ceiling (limited availability). An activity log mirrors the campaign history. | No price on Meta's pages. No free tier stated | checked |
| Google Ads MCP server Best for: developers who want Google's own read-only bridge to the Google Ads API | No. Every tool works on accounts the signed-in user can access. Nothing reads other advertisers' ads. | No. Google's docs say it "is strictly read-only. It cannot modify bids, pause campaigns, or create new assets." Its newest release adds asset and label tools only. | A Google Cloud project with the Google Ads API on, then Explorer access to reach real accounts, OAuth credentials, Python with pipx and a config entry. To use it in Claude's or ChatGPT's web apps, deploy your own copy to Cloud Run. Developer tokens were retired on Sep 9, 2026. |
| Nothing in campaigns, bids or budgets. The repo's latest release can create assets and manage labels, each behind a propose-and-confirm step. | Read-only by design. The asset and label tools dry-run first and need the change's checksum plus your approval, and you can switch them off. | Free, open source (Apache-2.0); you host it. Free: the whole server; Explorer API access allows 2,880 operations a day on production accounts |
checked |
| Markifact MCP server Best for: marketers and agencies running ads across many accounts, next to the rest of their stack | Yes. It searches the Meta Ad Library through your Meta Ads connection, and Google's Ads Transparency Center by domain without a Google Ads connection. | Yes. It creates campaigns, changes budgets, bids and bidding strategies, and sets status to active, paused or deleted. | A Markifact account (trial credits, no card), Google Ads and Meta connected by OAuth on its Connections page, then the server added to your client. |
| Google Ads Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Display and App campaigns, ad groups, ads, assets, keywords, budgets, bids and statuses; Meta campaigns, ad sets, ads and budgets; plus a fallback that can send any Google Ads change. | "Every write is an approval-gated operation": the server shows the account, the campaign and the current and proposed values, and nothing runs until you confirm. It tells you to keep its write tool on "Needs approval" in your client. | Pro, $79 a month. Free: trial credits with no card; no free plan |
checked |
| Composio Google Ads and Metaads toolkits Best for: one hosted connection that reaches Google Ads, Meta and the rest of your apps | No. Both toolkits list their full tools (78 for Google Ads, 91 for Metaads), and every one works on your own accounts. | Yes. Its Google Ads tools create, update or remove campaign budgets and bidding strategies; its Meta tools switch ads, ad sets and campaigns to ACTIVE. | A free Composio account, Composio added as a connector, then Google's sign-in through Composio's managed app. For Meta you first register a Meta OAuth app of your own and add its ID and secret in Composio. |
| Google Ads: campaigns, budgets, bidding strategies, ad groups, ads, keywords, audiences and conversions. Meta: campaigns, ad sets and targeting, ads, creatives, audiences, lead forms and tests, including archive and delete. | No drafts, paused default or spend cap stated for ads. Composio says to "keep an approval step in your prompt", and offers access controls, an audit log and a paid Firewall add-on for policy checks. | Hobby, $0; Pro, $29 a month. Free: Hobby, no card: 100,000 tool calls a month, up to 20,000 of them on managed apps such as Google Ads | checked |
| AdKit Ads MCP Best for: one ads toolbox for you and your agent: research, drafts and publishing across eight platforms | Yes. Its adkit_library tool searches AdKit's own library of 1M+ ads from 8,000+ advertisers on Meta, Google and LinkedIn, and on Google it shows the keywords competitors bid on with estimated costs per click. | Yes. It creates, edits and publishes campaigns, ad sets and ads, budgets and bids included, with each change saved as a draft first. | An AdKit account (7-day trial), each ad platform signed in by OAuth inside AdKit with its ad accounts assigned, then the AdKit server added to your client. No API keys. |
| Campaigns, ad sets and ad groups, ads, budgets, bids, keywords and negatives, targeting, status and creatives, on every platform it connects. | Every change lands as a draft inside AdKit, not in your ad account. Each connection has an access level: read-only, draft only, or draft and publish. New projects start on draft and publish, which AdKit says lets "a misread request" go live with real spend. | Single Project, $29 a month. Free: a 7-day free trial; no free plan | checked |
| Adspirer MCP server Best for: an AI paid-media manager across six ad platforms, approving what goes live | Yes. On Pro and Max: competitor_ads_research pulls a competitor's live ads from public ad libraries (Google by default, plus Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn) by domain, and "no connected ad account is required". | Yes. Its write tools "Creates campaigns, updates budgets, modifies targeting. Affects spend." | A free Adspirer account, the connector added in your client, then each ad platform connected by OAuth. Meta needs Business Manager and an active ad account with billing; Google asks for a passkey, and a new one can take up to 7 days. No developer token, Cloud project or Meta app. |
| Campaigns on six platforms, ad groups and ad sets, ads and copy, keywords and negatives, budgets, bids and bid strategies, targeting and audiences, schedules and status, plus deletes. | New campaigns start paused, write tools need your confirmation, and deletes sit behind a separate confirm flag. Its background agents park every write in an approvals inbox with a cap on budget change per run. Every call is logged. | Free, 15 tool calls a month; Plus, $49 a month. Free: 15 tool calls a month, no card; competitor ad research needs Pro at $99 a month | checked |
| Madgicx Facebook MCP and Google MCP Best for: e-commerce brands that want Meta ads answers and quick actions in Claude or ChatGPT | No. Its 48 Facebook tools and 6 Google tools work on the ad accounts in your Madgicx workspace. | Yes. Its Facebook server starts and pauses campaigns, ad sets and ads, and raises or lowers budgets, bids and spending limits. It can't create campaigns. | A Madgicx plan or trial, a workspace with a Facebook ad account connected, then the server URL added as a connector. |
| On Meta: status, campaign and ad set budgets, ad set bids and spending limits, and names. Nothing on Google Ads. | None of its own stated: no drafts, paused default or spend cap. Its docs suggest keeping Claude's write tools on "Needs approval". | Pro Complete with AI, from $45 a month, rising with ad spend. Free: a 7-day free trial | checked |
| Zapier Google Ads MCP Best for: Zapier users who want Google Ads lists, conversions and reports from any AI client | No. Every action works on your own accounts. | Yes. Its only named spend action is "Set Campaign Status", which turns a Google Ads campaign on or off. None sets budgets or bids, though some servers get a code tool that runs "with authenticated API access". | A Zapier account, Zapier added in your client, then the Google Ads app connected in Zapier when the agent asks. No developer token or Cloud project. |
| Google Ads campaign status, Customer Match lists, offline conversions and reports. On Meta, Conversions API events, custom audiences and Page posts; its Meta apps have no campaign actions. | You pick which apps and actions the agent can use, can fix the list in managed mode, and every call shows in a History log. No drafts or spend caps. | Free, $0; Professional from $19.99 a month. Free: 100 tasks a month, and each MCP call uses two; new accounts get a 14-day Professional trial, no card | checked |
| Ryze AI MCP connector Best for: businesses and media buyers who want an AI marketer that also works from Claude or ChatGPT | Yes. On Meta only: its searchAdLibrary tool searches the public Ad Library: "It uses a platform-level credential, so it is not limited to your own accounts." Each search costs 0.5 Ryze credits; its 14 Google Ads tools read only your accounts. | Yes. It creates and updates campaigns and budgets on Google, and campaigns, ad sets, budgets and their status on Meta. | A Ryze plan or trial, the connector URL added to your client, then Ryze's sign-in and your Google and Meta logins with access to the ad accounts. No developer token, Cloud project or Meta app. |
| Google: campaigns, budgets, ad groups, keywords and negatives, ads, assets, audiences and Google's recommendations. Meta: campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, budgets, audiences and status, plus deletes through a separate tool. | Ryze tells you to keep every write and delete tool on "Needs approval" in your client. Deletes run only on a list you approve item by item, and Google writes can dry-run first. No spend cap stated. | Paid Ads, $89 a month. Free: a 7-day free trial; no free plan | checked |
| StoreHero MCP Best for: Shopify brands that want answers in profit, not platform ROAS, across store, ads and email | Not stated. It reads your own orders, ad spend and costs; the "competitor watch" in its business context lists pricing and launches. | Not stated. "Changes to Google Ads and Klaviyo are proposed first and wait for your approval"; its pages don't say which Google Ads settings. | StoreHero installed from the Shopify App Store with your ad channels connected, then the StoreHero connector added in Claude, or in ChatGPT with Developer Mode on. |
| Proposed changes to Google Ads and Klaviyo; the settings aren't listed. | Every change is proposed first and waits for your approval. | Platform, $179 a month for stores up to $1M a year in revenue. Free: a 7-day free trial | checked |
| GoMarble MCP Best for: paid-media teams and agencies that want analysis, competitor research and changes behind approval | Yes. On the hosted server: its ad library tools look up "any brand's ads" and suggest competitors "without connecting anything", and each ad returned uses competitor insight credits. The free open-source servers read only your accounts. | Yes. From its Operator plan: it launches Meta and Google campaigns and edits status, budgets, bids and targeting. Its Copilot plan is read-only. | A GoMarble plan or trial, your ad platforms connected inside GoMarble (with write access for changes), then the server URL added as a connector. The open-source servers need Python and your own tokens. |
| Meta launches (Sales campaigns), edits to campaigns, ad sets and ads, and copies; Google Search and Performance Max launches, budgets, bids, assets, negatives and experiments; TikTok in a beta. | Its change tools are "propose" tools: GoMarble checks and saves a change, your client shows exactly what will change, and nothing is sent until you confirm. New Meta ads start paused, but new campaigns and ad sets start active unless you ask. Budget caps and approval policies come with its Scale plan. | Copilot, $139 a month (read-only); changes from Operator, $399. Free: a 7-day trial; the open-source servers are free (MIT) but have no competitor tools. Note: its pricing FAQ describes a free read-only tier (1 ad account per connector, 100 one-time credits, no card) that its plan cards don't show |

Running ads from Claude is two jobs
An ads MCP server (MCP is the Model Context Protocol, the way Claude, ChatGPT and Codex call outside tools) is a connector that lets your AI call an ad platform's tools: read a report, build a campaign, change a budget. Running ads that way is two jobs. The first is research and planning: what your competitors run, what their offers and landing pages say, and what the keywords cost. The second is running your own account: reading its results and changing live campaigns, their budgets, bids, ads and audiences.
Every account server on this page is built for the second job. It works on the ad accounts you connect, and most of them can spend your money. Research needs no ad account, so it can run where nothing can spend. That's the job superagnt does, which is why it sits first. When you're ready to launch or change campaigns, the account servers below take over.
| Job | What it needs | What it can touch | On this page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Research and planning: competitors' ads, offers, landing pages, keyword costs | Public ad libraries and search data. No ad account. | Nothing: it only reads | superagnt first; several account tools also search ad libraries |
| Running your own account: reports on its results, and changes to budgets, bids, ads and audiences | Your ad account connected, with permission to read it, and to edit it for changes | Your campaigns and their spend | Every other option, each with its own controls |
Which of these can research competitors' ads, not just your own account?
10 of the 18 options on this page: superagnt, Meta Ads MCP server, Markifact MCP server, AdKit Ads MCP, Adspirer MCP server, Ryze AI MCP connector, GoMarble MCP, Supermetrics for Claude and MCP server, Pipeboard Meta Ads MCP and Claude Ads. None of the other options' own pages lists an MCP tool that reads other advertisers' ads. Most of the 10 are campaign tools that also search an ad library. superagnt has no ad-account side: it never connects an ad account, so nothing it does can change a campaign, and its skill reads the landing page behind each main offer and prices that offer's keywords in the same run. Claude Ads covers the job as instructions, with no data connection of its own.
- superagnt: Any brand's active Facebook and Instagram ads from the Meta Ad Library, by country, grouped by offer, with the landing page and keyword costs behind each main offer (up to 5 a competitor). A recorded run: 615 ads for 3 brands, 57.72 credits.
- Meta Ads MCP server: Its
ads_library_searchtool searches the public Meta Ad Library "for competitive research and creative inspiration", from inside the same sign-in that manages your ads. Meta is rolling tool access out gradually. - Markifact MCP server: It searches the Meta Ad Library through your Meta Ads connection, and Google's Ads Transparency Center by domain without a Google Ads connection.
- AdKit Ads MCP: Its
adkit_librarytool searches AdKit's own library of 1M+ ads from 8,000+ advertisers on Meta, Google and LinkedIn, and on Google it shows the keywords competitors bid on with estimated costs per click. - Adspirer MCP server: On Pro and Max:
competitor_ads_researchpulls a competitor's live ads from public ad libraries (Google by default, plus Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn) by domain, and "no connected ad account is required". - Ryze AI MCP connector: On Meta only: its
searchAdLibrarytool searches the public Ad Library: "It uses a platform-level credential, so it is not limited to your own accounts." Each search costs 0.5 Ryze credits; its 14 Google Ads tools read only your accounts. - GoMarble MCP: On the hosted server: its ad library tools look up "any brand's ads" and suggest competitors "without connecting anything", and each ad returned uses competitor insight credits. The free open-source servers read only your accounts.
- Supermetrics for Claude and MCP server: On Meta: its Meta Ad Library source returns advertisers' ad text and links by country and keyword. It needs a personal Facebook account that has passed Meta's identity check, which takes 1 to 3 business days.
- Pipeboard Meta Ads MCP: Its "Meta Ad Library search" returns "other advertisers' ads"; in its code it calls Meta's ads_archive API with your own token. An admin can switch it off as a prompt-injection risk.
- Claude Ads: As instructions: its competitor skill tells Claude to research ad libraries such as the Meta Ad Library, but brings no data connection of its own. Claude gathers the evidence itself, or you paste it.
Which can touch your budget, and what do you set up before the first answer?
Can change something that spends: Meta Ads MCP server, Markifact MCP server, Composio Google Ads and Metaads toolkits, AdKit Ads MCP, Adspirer MCP server, Madgicx Facebook MCP and Google MCP, Zapier Google Ads MCP, Ryze AI MCP connector, GoMarble MCP, Windsor.ai MCP, Supermetrics for Claude and MCP server and Pipeboard Meta Ads MCP. Can't: superagnt, Google Ads MCP server, Coupler.io MCP server and Claude Ads. Not stated: StoreHero MCP and Google Ads API agent skills. Google's server can't change bids, budgets or campaign status, Coupler.io queries a copy of your reports, Claude Ads ships with every write switched off, and superagnt has no ad account to write to.
Setup comes in three sizes. The hosted servers need an account of their own and your ad platforms signed in, a few minutes each, though Adspirer warns that a new Google passkey can take up to 7 days; some ask for a paid plan before the tools answer. Google's official server needs a Google Cloud project, API access, OAuth credentials and a local install, or your own Cloud Run deployment for the web apps. superagnt needs one connector and a sign-in, and no ad account. The table's second and third columns have each option's details.
What can each one change, and what stops it from overspending?
The controls differ more than the tool lists. Meta's server creates everything paused, your client asks before switching it on, and where Meta's rules are available an admin can block budget increases. Supermetrics keeps writes off until you grant them per ad account, then asks at the points you pick. AdKit keeps changes as drafts outside your ad account. Markifact and GoMarble prepare each change and send it only after you confirm. Adspirer, Windsor.ai and Madgicx rely on your client asking before a write, and Composio and Zapier on your prompt and their access settings. The read-only options can't overspend at all.
What they can change runs from nothing that spends (Google's server, which adds only assets and labels, Coupler.io, Claude Ads and superagnt) to campaigns, budgets, bids and targeting on two or more platforms (Composio, Markifact, Adspirer, AdKit and Supermetrics). The table's fifth and sixth columns set each option's changes beside its controls.

superagnt
research plugin, read-onlybest for researching competitors and planning campaigns without touching your spend
superagnt is a marketing plugin for Claude and ChatGPT that helps businesses find customers through outbound, SEO and ads. Its Competitor Ad Research skill pulls the ads your competitors run on Facebook and Instagram, groups them by offer, angle and format, reads the landing page behind each main offer and prices that offer's keywords. It can also run every week and report the ads that started since the last run. It's the research half of running ads: what to run and what it will cost, before anything touches your account.
- platforms
- Facebook and Instagram ads in the Meta Ad Library, Google keyword volumes and costs per click, any landing page
- competitors' ads
- Yes. Any brand's active Facebook and Instagram ads from the Meta Ad Library, by country, grouped by offer, with the landing page and keyword costs behind each main offer (up to 5 a competitor). A recorded run: 615 ads for 3 brands, 57.72 credits.
- your budget
- No. It never connects an ad account, so it can't change a campaign, a bid or a budget. That's what keeps your spend safe while you research.
- setup
- Add superagnt to Claude as a connector and sign in. No ad account, no developer token, no app review.
- changes
- Nothing in an ad account. It only reads, and keeps what it finds as rows in your own workspace database.
- guardrails
- None needed: it has no access to an ad account. A run spends data credits from your plan, never ad budget.
- price
- Starter, $49 a month with $20 of data credits. Free: a no-card trial with $3 of data credits; the run on this page used $0.58
- limits
- $20 of data credits a month on Starter; up to 30 ad library calls a competitor per run (the skill's cap)

Meta Ads MCP server
Meta's own server, hostedbest for managing your own Meta ads from a chat instead of Ads Manager
Meta's own server, hosted at mcp.facebook.com/ads and one of its "ads AI connectors". It reports on your campaigns, builds and edits them, runs catalogs, Pixels and tests, and searches the Ad Library. It's the server Meta runs itself: new work starts paused, your client asks before anything goes live, and where Meta's server rules are available, an admin sets them per ad account in Business Suite. Meta's connectors also include an Ads CLI, a command-line tool for the same jobs.
- platforms
- Facebook and Instagram ads, plus Meta catalogs, Pixels and the Conversions API

ads_library_searchtool searches the public Meta Ad Library "for competitive research and creative inspiration", from inside the same sign-in that manages your ads. Meta is rolling tool access out gradually. - your budget

- New campaigns, ad sets and ads start paused, and your client asks before switching one on. A draft mode keeps new work for review. Admins can add rules that block budget increases above a percentage, an amount or a ceiling (limited availability). An activity log mirrors the campaign history.
- price
- No price on Meta's pages. No free tier stated
- limits
- tool access rolls out gradually by ad account; server rules are in limited availability

Google Ads MCP server
Google's own server, open sourcebest for developers who want Google's own read-only bridge to the Google Ads API
Google's open-source server lets an agent read a Google Ads account in plain language, with Google Ads Query Language underneath. It's free, and it can't change bids, budgets or campaign status. The cost is setup: a Cloud project, API access, OAuth and a local install, or your own Cloud Run deployment for the web apps. None of its tools calls Keyword Planner, which Explorer access also excludes.
- platforms
- Google Ads, through the Google Ads API
- competitors' ads
- No. Every tool works on accounts the signed-in user can access. Nothing reads other advertisers' ads.
- your budget
- No. Google's docs say it "is strictly read-only. It cannot modify bids, pause campaigns, or create new assets." Its newest release adds asset and label tools only.
- setup
- A Google Cloud project with the Google Ads API on, then Explorer access to reach real accounts, OAuth credentials, Python with pipx and a config entry. To use it in Claude's or ChatGPT's web apps, deploy your own copy to Cloud Run. Developer tokens were retired on Sep 9, 2026.
- changes
- Nothing in campaigns, bids or budgets. The repo's latest release can create assets and manage labels, each behind a propose-and-confirm step.
- guardrails
- Read-only by design. The asset and label tools dry-run first and need the change's checksum plus your approval, and you can switch them off.
- price
- Free, open source (Apache-2.0); you host it. Free: the whole server; Explorer API access allows 2,880 operations a day on production accounts
- limits
- Explorer access: 2,880 operations a day on production accounts; Basic access needs brand verification; Standard needs a manual review

Markifact MCP server
hosted server, part of a marketing automation platformbest for marketers and agencies running ads across many accounts, next to the rest of their stack
Markifact is a marketing automation platform whose MCP server reaches 14 ad platforms and the tools around them. It reads and changes Google Ads and Meta behind an approval step for every write, and adds competitor research from Meta's Ad Library and Google's Transparency Center.
- platforms
- Google Ads and Meta, plus 12 more ad platforms, GA4, Sheets, Slack and Shopify
- competitors' ads
- Yes. It searches the Meta Ad Library through your Meta Ads connection, and Google's Ads Transparency Center by domain without a Google Ads connection.
- your budget
- Yes. It creates campaigns, changes budgets, bids and bidding strategies, and sets status to active, paused or deleted.
- setup
- A Markifact account (trial credits, no card), Google Ads and Meta connected by OAuth on its Connections page, then the server added to your client.
- changes
- Google Ads Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Display and App campaigns, ad groups, ads, assets, keywords, budgets, bids and statuses; Meta campaigns, ad sets, ads and budgets; plus a fallback that can send any Google Ads change.
- guardrails
- "Every write is an approval-gated operation": the server shows the account, the campaign and the current and proposed values, and nothing runs until you confirm. It tells you to keep its write tool on "Needs approval" in your client.
- price
- Pro, $79 a month. Free: trial credits with no card; no free plan
- limits
- Pro: 2,500 credits a month, 1 seat; Team, $249 a month: 10,000 credits and up

Composio Google Ads and Metaads toolkits
integration platform, hostedbest for one hosted connection that reaches Google Ads, Meta and the rest of your apps
Composio is a hosted MCP gateway for 1,500+ apps, and its Google Ads and Metaads toolkits are two of them. The toolkits are wide: budgets, bidding strategies, keywords, audiences and conversions on Google, and the whole campaign tree on Meta. Google Ads signs in through Composio's own app; Meta needs an OAuth app you register yourself.
- platforms
- Google Ads and Meta ads, as two toolkits beside 1,500+ other apps
- competitors' ads
- No. Both toolkits list their full tools (78 for Google Ads, 91 for Metaads), and every one works on your own accounts.
- your budget
- Yes. Its Google Ads tools create, update or remove campaign budgets and bidding strategies; its Meta tools switch ads, ad sets and campaigns to ACTIVE.
- setup
- A free Composio account, Composio added as a connector, then Google's sign-in through Composio's managed app. For Meta you first register a Meta OAuth app of your own and add its ID and secret in Composio.
- changes
- Google Ads: campaigns, budgets, bidding strategies, ad groups, ads, keywords, audiences and conversions. Meta: campaigns, ad sets and targeting, ads, creatives, audiences, lead forms and tests, including archive and delete.
- guardrails

- price
- Hobby, $0; Pro, $29 a month. Free: Hobby, no card: 100,000 tool calls a month, up to 20,000 of them on managed apps such as Google Ads

AdKit Ads MCP
hosted serverbest for one ads toolbox for you and your agent: research, drafts and publishing across eight platforms
AdKit is an ads toolbox with an MCP server, a CLI and a dashboard: an ad library, competitor tracking, an AI creative studio and campaign management across eight platforms. Its draft layer keeps changes out of your ad account until they're published, and with a project set to draft only, nothing goes live without your click.
- platforms
- Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and LinkedIn; Reddit, Microsoft, X and ChatGPT Ads in beta
- competitors' ads
- Yes. Its
adkit_librarytool searches AdKit's own library of 1M+ ads from 8,000+ advertisers on Meta, Google and LinkedIn, and on Google it shows the keywords competitors bid on with estimated costs per click. - your budget
- Yes. It creates, edits and publishes campaigns, ad sets and ads, budgets and bids included, with each change saved as a draft first.
- setup
- An AdKit account (7-day trial), each ad platform signed in by OAuth inside AdKit with its ad accounts assigned, then the AdKit server added to your client. No API keys.
- changes
- Campaigns, ad sets and ad groups, ads, budgets, bids, keywords and negatives, targeting, status and creatives, on every platform it connects.
- guardrails
- Every change lands as a draft inside AdKit, not in your ad account. Each connection has an access level: read-only, draft only, or draft and publish. New projects start on draft and publish, which AdKit says lets "a misread request" go live with real spend.
- price
- Single Project, $29 a month. Free: a 7-day free trial; no free plan
- limits
- Single Project: 1 project, 1 ad account on each platform; Multiple Projects, $49 a month: unlimited projects and ad accounts

Adspirer MCP server
hosted serverbest for an AI paid-media manager across six ad platforms, approving what goes live

- platforms
- Google, Meta, Amazon, ChatGPT, LinkedIn and TikTok ads, plus GA4 and Klaviyo
- competitors' ads
- Yes. On Pro and Max:
competitor_ads_researchpulls a competitor's live ads from public ad libraries (Google by default, plus Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn) by domain, and "no connected ad account is required". - your budget
- Yes. Its write tools "Creates campaigns, updates budgets, modifies targeting. Affects spend."
- setup
- A free Adspirer account, the connector added in your client, then each ad platform connected by OAuth. Meta needs Business Manager and an active ad account with billing; Google asks for a passkey, and a new one can take up to 7 days. No developer token, Cloud project or Meta app.
- changes
- Campaigns on six platforms, ad groups and ad sets, ads and copy, keywords and negatives, budgets, bids and bid strategies, targeting and audiences, schedules and status, plus deletes.
- guardrails
- New campaigns start paused, write tools need your confirmation, and deletes sit behind a separate confirm flag. Its background agents park every write in an approvals inbox with a cap on budget change per run. Every call is logged.
- price
- Free, 15 tool calls a month; Plus, $49 a month. Free: 15 tool calls a month, no card; competitor ad research needs Pro at $99 a month
- limits
- Plus: 150 calls a month; Pro: 600 calls a month, $99; Max: 3,000 calls a month, $199

Ryze AI MCP connector
hosted server, part of an ads appbest for businesses and media buyers who want an AI marketer that also works from Claude or ChatGPT

StoreHero MCP
hosted server, profit analytics for e-commercebest for Shopify brands that want answers in profit, not platform ROAS, across store, ads and email
StoreHero is profit analytics for e-commerce. Its MCP gives Claude or ChatGPT your Shopify orders, ad spend, costs and margins joined in one connection, so answers come back in profit per order rather than platform ROAS.
- platforms

- competitors' ads
- Not stated. It reads your own orders, ad spend and costs; the "competitor watch" in its business context lists pricing and launches.

GoMarble MCP
hosted server, plus free open-source serversbest for paid-media teams and agencies that want analysis, competitor research and changes behind approval
GoMarble started with free open-source Meta and Google Ads servers that read your accounts, and now sells a hosted MCP on top: analysis across five ad platforms, an ad library for competitor research, and proposed changes you confirm. The read-only Copilot plan does research without any write access.
- platforms
- Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft ads, plus Shopify, GA4 and Klaviyo; changes on Meta and Google
- competitors' ads
- Yes. On the hosted server: its ad library tools look up "any brand's ads" and suggest competitors "without connecting anything", and each ad returned uses competitor insight credits. The free open-source servers read only your accounts.
- your budget
- Yes. From its Operator plan: it launches Meta and Google campaigns and edits status, budgets, bids and targeting. Its Copilot plan is read-only.
- setup
- A GoMarble plan or trial, your ad platforms connected inside GoMarble (with write access for changes), then the server URL added as a connector. The open-source servers need Python and your own tokens.
- changes
- Meta launches (Sales campaigns), edits to campaigns, ad sets and ads, and copies; Google Search and Performance Max launches, budgets, bids, assets, negatives and experiments; TikTok in a beta.
- guardrails
- Its change tools are "propose" tools: GoMarble checks and saves a change, your client shows exactly what will change, and nothing is sent until you confirm. New Meta ads start paused, but new campaigns and ad sets start active unless you ask. Budget caps and approval policies come with its Scale plan.
- price
- Copilot, $139 a month (read-only); changes from Operator, $399. Free: a 7-day trial; the open-source servers are free (MIT) but have no competitor tools. Note: its pricing FAQ describes a free read-only tier (1 ad account per connector, 100 one-time credits, no card) that its plan cards don't show
- limits
- Copilot: 5 ad accounts per connector, 1 seat; competitor research uses credits per ad returned

How to connect Claude to Meta ads or Google Ads
Meta's Ads MCP server
- Add
https://mcp.facebook.com/adsas a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT. Meta says the server works with any MCP-compatible agent and needs no developer credentials. - Sign in with Facebook Login for Business and approve the requested permissions, which include reading or managing your ads.
- Ask which tools you have: Meta is rolling tool access out gradually by ad account.
- With a Meta developer app of your own, Claude Code connects with
claude mcp add --transport http --client-id <META_APP_ID> meta-ads https://mcp.facebook.com/ads.
Google's Google Ads MCP server
- Create a Google Cloud project and turn on the Google Ads API. That grants Test access, which reaches test accounts only.
- Apply for Explorer access on the API's overview page in Cloud Console to reach real accounts. Google approves most automatically; a known issue rejects projects on the Cloud free trial or with suspended billing.
- Create OAuth credentials and install pipx, then add the server to your client's config with your project ID and credentials file.
- For Claude's or ChatGPT's web apps, deploy your own copy to Cloud Run with OAuth and add its URL as a custom connector. You host it, so its updates are yours to pull.
- Developer tokens were retired on Sep 9, 2026: guides that ask for one are out of date.

| Ad copy | "Write five headlines for that campaign in our voice." | Any of them; Claude writes the copy |
Claude skills or MCP servers?
A skill is a set of instructions: it tells Claude how to do a job well. A server is the connection: it gives Claude data to read and tools to call. Claude Ads is a skill pack that works from the exports you give it. Google's Ads skills teach the agent Google's own server. You can also export a CSV from Ads Manager and paste it into Claude, which needs neither.
Or skip both and have Claude write code against the Google Ads API or Meta's Marketing API itself: Google's skills guide shows an agent writing a script to create a campaign. superagnt ships both a skill and a server: the Competitor Ad Research skill and the server it runs on, so the skill has live ad library, web and keyword data from the first prompt.
Is it safe to let Claude change your campaigns?
It can be, with the controls on. Meta's server creates new campaigns, ad sets and ads paused, and your client asks before activating one; where Meta's rules are available, an admin can block budget increases above a percentage, an amount or a ceiling. AdKit keeps every change as a draft, and its draft-only level means nothing goes live without your click. Adspirer and Ryze put writes behind approvals. Google's official server can't change bids, budgets or campaign status.
- Research before you connect anything. superagnt reads competitors' ads, pages and keyword costs with no ad account, so it can't spend a cent of ad budget.
- Connect one account server, read-only first, and turn on writes once you trust its reports.
- Keep confirmations on in your client, and the strictest change level the server offers.
- Give a server only the access it needs: Pipeboard offers read-only tokens, AdKit read-only and draft-only levels, and Supermetrics keeps writes off until you grant them per ad account.
- Meta says it's "unlikely that an account would be banned simply for using" its own server.
- Check every number against the ads manager before you act on it: attribution windows and time zones differ between tools.
- Watch the activity log. Meta's server mirrors the campaign history; Adspirer and Zapier log every call.
How we compiled this
- Which options: for "google ads mcp", "meta ads mcp", "facebook ads mcp" and "google ads claude" (Google US, Nov 5, 2026), we counted each MCP server's or skill's own pages (its site, docs or GitHub repo, not directory listings) that rank in the top 10 or that the search's AI Overview links, once per search and page. Meta's and Google's own servers are in the table beside superagnt, with the 9 others counted most, ties going to the one with more top-10 pages; 6 more that the overviews link or name are under "Also checked".
- Every fact about another product is from its own docs, pricing page or GitHub repo, fetched by script on Nov 5, 2026, with each quoted line found again word for word in the saved page. A fact a product's own pages don't state says "not stated".
- We didn't test the other products. superagnt's row comes from its billing catalog and a recorded run of the Competitor Ad Research skill on superagnt's staging server, Nov 4, 2026.
- superagnt makes this page. It's first for the research job, the one it does; it doesn't change campaigns, and the table says so.
Common questions
01Is there an official Google Ads MCP server?
Yes. Google publishes an open-source Google Ads MCP server, googleads/google-ads-mcp on GitHub. Google's docs call it strictly read-only, and its newest release adds only tools that create assets and manage labels, each behind a propose-and-confirm step: nothing in it changes bids, budgets or campaign status. You run it yourself, with a Google Cloud project, Google Ads API access and OAuth credentials; developer tokens were retired on Sep 9, 2026. It reads only accounts you can access, so for competitors' ads and keyword costs, use superagnt.
02Does Meta have an MCP server for ads?
Yes. Meta's Ads MCP server, at https://mcp.facebook.com/ads, is one of its ads AI connectors. You add the URL as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT and sign in with Facebook Login for Business. It reports on your campaigns, builds and edits them, and searches the Ad Library. New work starts paused and your client asks before anything goes live. Meta's pages state no price.
03Can Claude see my competitors' ads?
Yes. With superagnt, Claude reads any brand's active Facebook and Instagram ads in the Meta Ad Library, by country, with no ad account connected, then reads the landing page behind each main offer and prices its keywords. In a recorded run it pulled 615 ads for 3 brands for 57.72 credits ($0.58). Meta Ads MCP server, Markifact MCP server, AdKit Ads MCP, Adspirer MCP server, Ryze AI MCP connector, GoMarble MCP, Supermetrics for Claude and MCP server and Pipeboard Meta Ads MCP also search ad libraries, from tools that can change your campaigns.
04Can Claude plan a campaign without access to my ad account?
Yes. With superagnt, Claude can read what competitors run, what their landing pages offer and charge, and what each keyword costs per click, then draft the campaign: structure, offers, keywords and budget. You connect an ad account only when you're ready to launch, through one of the account servers on this page.
05Can Claude change my campaigns?
Yes, through an account server. Meta's Ads MCP server changes Meta campaigns, ad sets and ads, and hosted servers such as AdKit, Adspirer, Ryze and Composio change Google Ads and Meta. Google's official server can't change bids, budgets or campaign status, and superagnt never connects an ad account.
06Is it safe to let Claude manage ad spend?
It can be, with the controls on. Meta's server creates new work paused, your client asks before activating it, and where Meta's rules are available an admin can block budget increases; AdKit saves changes as drafts; Adspirer and Ryze put writes behind approvals. Start your research on superagnt, which can't spend anything, then connect an account server with confirmations on and the strictest change level it offers.
07Do I still need a Google Ads developer token?
No. Google retired developer tokens on Sep 9, 2026, and API access now comes from your Google Cloud project's access level: Test, then Explorer for real accounts. Guides written before then still list the token as a step.
08What do these cost?
Free and open source: Google Ads MCP server, Claude Ads and Google Ads API agent skills. Free plans, with limits: Composio Google Ads and Metaads toolkits, Adspirer MCP server, Zapier Google Ads MCP, Coupler.io MCP server, Windsor.ai MCP and Pipeboard Meta Ads MCP. Paid plans start at $29 a month for AdKit Ads MCP, $44 a month for Supermetrics for Claude and MCP server (billed yearly), $45 a month for Madgicx Facebook MCP and Google MCP, $79 a month for Markifact MCP server, $89 a month for Ryze AI MCP connector, $139 a month for GoMarble MCP and $179 a month for StoreHero MCP. Meta Ads MCP server lists no price on its own pages. GoMarble MCP: its pricing FAQ describes a free read-only tier (1 ad account per connector, 100 one-time credits, no card) that its plan cards don't show. Coupler.io MCP server: its MCP pages say MCP needs at least the Professional plan. superagnt's Starter plan is $49 a month with $20 of data credits, after a no-card trial with $3 of credits.
