The Memelord connection lets an agent make memes. It generates image memes from a prompt, submits captioned video memes that render in the background, rewrites the text or caption of an existing meme from a plain-language instruction, and checks on video renders.

Setup

  1. Create an API key. In your Memelord developer settings at memelord.com, create an API key (mlord_live_...).
  2. Connect Memelord. In the superagnt app open Integrations, pick Memelord, paste the key and press Connect.

Things to know

  • Every meme spends credits on your Memelord account: 1 per image meme or image edit, 5 per video meme or video edit. A request for several memes (count, up to 10 images or 5 videos) costs that many times as much.
  • Generating and editing run without asking by default, so a deployed agent spends credits on its own. Set those tools to Ask if a person should approve each one (Permissions).
  • Image memes come back in the response as signed download URLs that expire after expires_in seconds. Save the file if you need it later.
  • include_nsfw defaults to true. Send false to keep NSFW templates out.
  • caption_style (top, tiktok or snapchat) switches image generation to caption-only mode. Do not send it when editing a template-mode meme: Memelord answers 400.
  • An image edit needs the template_id and template_data from the original generation response. A video edit needs the template_id and the current caption.

Video renders

  • A video meme or video edit returns a job_id per meme straight away and renders in the background.
  • Poll connection_memelord_video_renders_read with that id as jobId until status is completed (with an mp4Url) or failed (with an error).
  • Or pass webhookUrl, and Memelord posts each result there when it is done. On a new video meme, webhookSecret makes Memelord sign the payload with HMAC-SHA256.
  • A webhookUrl can be a superagnt_ inbound webhook endpoint, which starts an agent when the render finishes. Leave the endpoint's signature verification off: it does not check Memelord's signature.
  • The mp4Url expires 7 days after the render completes. Download any video you want to keep.
