The Breakcold connection lets an agent work your Breakcold CRM: find, create, update and archive records such as people, companies and deals, add tasks and notes, log activities, read meetings and their transcripts, and read, draft and send messages in the unified inbox (email, LinkedIn, Telegram and WhatsApp). It can also change the CRM setup (object types, fields, select options and saved views) and create webhooks for Breakcold events.

most calls start from a workspace id

Workspace-level calls take workspaceId, Breakcold's own workspace id (not your superagnt_ workspace). Get it from connection_breakcold_workspaces_read, then pass it in the query string on reads and in the body on writes. Calls that address one resource by its id, such as /records/{recordId}, take none.

Setup

  1. Create a key. In Breakcold open Settings → Integrations → API and create a public API key. It starts with bc_live_ and carries its organization, so there is no organization id to enter.
  2. Paste it. In the superagnt app open Integrations, pick Breakcold, paste the key into API key and click Connect.
  3. Find your workspace. Call connection_breakcold_workspaces_read (action list): each workspace's id is a workspaceId.

The connection uses Breakcold's current API. The older v3 REST API (developer.breakcold.com) is deprecated and rejects bc_live_ keys.

Plans and limits

  • Breakcold bills API calls in its own tokens, on your Breakcold account: 0.2 per read and 0.4 per write, and listing workspaces is free.
  • Breakcold allows 120 calls a minute per route and organization, 180 per API key, 300 per workspace and 600 per organization.

Things to know

  • A record's fields map field slugs, not display names, to values, and a create that leaves out a required field gets a 400. A select field takes { "optionId": "<id>" }. A relation field takes the related record's id: a name there gets an opaque 500 from Breakcold, which comes back as a 502 PROVIDER_ERROR.
  • Paged lists take limit (up to 100) and cursor: pass back pagination.cursor while pagination.hasMore is true. Record search matches display names only, unless you set searchScope=all.
  • A note's content is HTML. Timestamps, such as a task's dueAt, are Unix milliseconds.
  • By default a superagnt_ agent runs reads without asking and asks before writes. Archiving a record, composing or sending a message, clearing a draft and every delete always ask a person first (Permissions).

Receiving Breakcold webhooks

To have Breakcold events reach an agent, create a superagnt_ inbound webhook endpoint and register its URL as targetUrl with connection_breakcold_hooks_write (action create): one eventType per hook, such as record.created, note.created or task.completed, a platform of zapier or make, and optionally filterObjectTypeIds. Breakcold does not sign these deliveries in a way the endpoint can check, so leave its signature verification off and keep the URL secret.
